Aleksandra

Psychologist | Telehealth

Having developed a reputation for her inquisitive and warm nature in the therapy room, Aleksandra is passionate about supporting people through their challenges and helping them to work towards a positive future.

Aleksandra utilises a range of therapy styles, including mindfulness-based strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Approach. Her area of experience includes but is not limited to: ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, Borderline Personality Disorder (emotional distress, suicidal ideation and self-harm), Depression and Intellectual Disabilities.

Aleksandra loves working with kids and adolescents, but also adults who have a strong desire to question and understand themselves in their own unique ways. Aleksandra speaks English and Polish.

Vimal

Clinical Psychologist | Ascot Vale, VIC 

Vimal has completed a Master of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the University of Otago.

Vimal is passionate about working with people from all walks of life, including children and
adults. Known for her warm therapeutic approach, Vimal strives to support people who are navigating challenges in their lives by drawing upon their unique strengths. She prides herself iin her ability to take a holistic and person-centered approach when working with clients.

In her previous roles, Vimal has worked in pediatric outpatient settings, community mental health teams and has done case manager work. She utilises theoretical frameworks including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Vimal has experience working with various presentations including anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and Autism.

In her spare time, Vimal enjoys spending time with family, going for walks and painting. She is fluent in English and Punjabi.

Daniela

Provisional Psychologist | Surrey Hills

Daniela is passionate about working with a wide range of individuals and being able to help foster positive change and growth in their lives. She has a warm personality and utilised evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to create an inviting environment to best support the specific needs of the individual.

She has a large amount of experience and passion working with kids and adolescence, and with various presentations, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety concerns (including, generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder), depressive disorders, and personality disorders (such as, BPD). Daniela has also regularly worked with adults and has the experience and a passion for working with trauma presentations.

Amber

Amber is heavily passionate about early intervention, person-centred wellbeing and approaching individuals with a holistic view. She strives to empower people to take control of their own life and provide them with the skills necessary to make a positive change.

She has experience working with autism in the 4-6 year old age range, assisting with early intervention, communication, conflict resolution and the delivery of evidence-based programs. Amber has also helped adults with mental health conditions develop individual recovery-oriented psychosocial support plans with short and long-term goals; centred around improving independent and functional living skills to increase overall quality of life.

Ben is a provisional psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology. He values understanding each client’s unique perspective and strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel heard and supported. Ben fosters strong therapeutic relationships through a collaborative approach, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.

Ben is passionate about working with people of all ages who are experiencing challenges related to self-esteem, emotional regulation, anxiety, ADHD, and ASD. He utilises evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Outside of work, Ben enjoys watching basketball and action or superhero movies.

Rebecca

Rebecca obtained her psychology degree through The University of Adelaide and The Australian Institute of Psychology. After studying, she worked in the therapeutic space (registered under AHPRA) from 2018 until gaining her full registration.

Rebecca has worked within both private and public sectors (EAP and the employment sector) before moving to work that focused on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and working with Borderline Personality Disorder. This experience over the years has allowed Rebecca to develop her skills by seeing a wide range and scope of very complex presentations.

Stephanie

Stephanie is a Registered Psychologist and the Clinical Lead of Psychology Program at PsychPhys™. She has a passion for supporting individuals who are experiencing mental health concerns, difficulties with anger regulation, and addiction. Stephanie also has experience supporting neurodiverse individuals of all ages in a collaborative and empathetic manner. 

Stephanie has experience administering a number of diagnostic assessments, supporting her clients to improve their understanding of themselves and their support needs. She previously worked in a forensic setting, providing services to adult male offenders in custody. Stephanie prides herself in creating a supportive and non-judgemental space where her clients feel safe and comfortable.

Adrian

Accredited Exercise Physiologist | Reservoir, VIC

Adrian is passionate about using movement to assist individuals in managing a range of conditions, improve their quality of life and improve independence. For two years, Adrian worked with clients who were affected by neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, strokes and ABI’s where he developed his passion for working with people who have a disability.

Previously, he has also had experience in a hospital setting, assisting amputees and people who had been affected by motor vehicle accidents in regaining their strength and relearning to walk with prosthetic limbs. Outside of work Adrian plays soccer, and enjoys fishing, hiking and being in nature. When he can’t be outside he loves to game.

Georgia is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and one of our two Team Leader’s for PsychPhys™’s Exercise Physiology Programs. Georgia has previously worked in private clinics, aged care facilities and the public health sector with a wide range of ages, backgrounds and conditions. 

Georgia is passionate about getting people active to help better their physical, mental and emotional health – empowering her clients to take control of their health care through movement. With a special interest in mental health, metabolic and musculoskeletal conditions, Georgia enjoys working with children and young adults in order to help them achieve their goals!

Rhys

Since an early age, Rhys has held an intense interest in exercise, having participated in a multitude of sports – most notable being AFL and Basketball! This led him towards pursuing a career that would help him improve his knowledge and understanding of how exercise can be used to support a person’s health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Having worked with neurodiverse populations for over five years, Rhys has become increasingly passionate towards helping neurodiverse individuals of all ages; particularly children and adolescents. In his spare time, Rhys will often be catching up with friends, listening to music, or checking out a variety of TV shows and movies. Tell him your best dad joke when you see him. Trust us.

She has previous experience supporting clients in the disability and aged care sectors. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and reading. Michael completed and obtained his Bachelor of Youth Work at Victoria University.
He is highly passionate about working with young people and supporting them in reaching their goals and aspirations. Michael has 5 years of experience working in disability and support work, supporting people with a wide range of mental, physical and psychological disabilities and illnesses. Michael has a special interest in working with young people and assisting them as they grow and learn.

When not at work, Michael enjoys playing games, exercising, playing cricket, reading and listening to music.

Shewar values strong relationships with her clients and prefers a client-centred approach, as she believes that each individual is unique and requires tailored care plans to address their specific needs. 

Previously, Shewar has completed placement within multiple settings including clinical placement at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, community placement at a local primary school, and foodservice placement at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Here, Shewar has had exposure to a range of nutritional work, including working in an acute inpatient setting, collaborating with parents and stakeholder to organise school nutrition activities, and undertaking meal auditing tasks. 

In more recent times, Shewar has worked at a cooking school with a diverse range of ages, helping individuals learn basic cooking skills. Shewar can speak three languages including, Urdu, Hindi and English, helping her connect with a diverse range of individuals.

Anneliese

Anneliese has completed a Bachelor Of Counselling from Australian College Of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and currently oversees PsychPhys™’s new range of counselling programs. She is heavily passionate about the wellbeing of others and has always taken a holistic approach to working with adolescents and adults. Anneliese is interested in a person-centred focus that provides positive and empowering solutions to clients. Previously, she completed placement within high school settings where she had exposure to mental health conditions, life transitions, trauma, low self esteem, relationship issues, addiction and grief and loss. 

Anneliese has also worked with 3-6 year olds with developmental concerns, providing mindfulness and relaxation counselling to help clients practise self regulation, resilience and emotional awareness. Anneliese has found working amongst mental health extremely rewarding to watch the behavioural change and growth of individuals.
